Petitions sent to General Assembly "to help Chicago," 1932.

Petitions forwarded to the General Assembly by the Chicago Herald Examiner suggested changes to Cook County's taxing practices by abolishing the Board of Review and assessors; and replacing them with two Board of Review members and one assessor, so that Chicago could pay city employees. Entries contain Chicago area citizen signatures and addresses.
